Licensing

In order to care, train and carry out duties with animals registered for racing, participants must be licensed by the Queensland Racing Integrity the Commission.

There are many roles carried out in the racing industry and it is the Commission’s role to ensure those who work with racing animals are capable in such roles as:

  • Riding
  • Training
  • Bookmaking
  • Stable work

Mandatory Training Requirements may apply to any category of licence.
