Why report?

Your report about the mistreatment of racing animals or other wrongdoing within any of the three codes of animal racing will help keep racing integrity on track.

In our experience, most licensed participants play within the Rules of Racing. Those who breach the rules put themselves and others at risk, and also jeopardise the longevity of animal racing in Queensland.

We need help from the racing community to do our job of safeguarding the welfare of racing animals and ensuring that people involved in animal racing in Queensland act with integrity.

How to report

Report online

The easiest way to make a report is via our web form on our website. Please include as much detail as possible, including any supporting documentation such as photographs, if you have them.

Telephone us on our new telephone number 1300 119 291

Your report might result in a conversation between a Steward and a licensed participant, reminding that person of his or her obligations under the Rules. It might prompt an investigation or a Stewards’ Inquiry.

If your report relates to a matter that is the responsibility of the Queensland Police, Bio-Security Queensland or the RSPCA, we will ensure the information is referred to them.
